Anybody that knows me, know that I love watching cooking shows. I wish I could watch them all day long though. One night, as I flipped through the channels (my favorite channels) and saw that The Cooking Channel’s show, Unique Sweet’s had Featured Callie’s Charleston Biscuits located in Atlanta Ga, making their Blueberry Buttermilk Biscuits and I knew I had to have them.
Since I live like 8-10 hours away I figured I’d just search The Cooking Channel website for the recipe and to my luck I found it. It took several months before I decided to make them. I’m so glad I did because they are the best biscuits ever! Warm, lightly sweet soft and fluffy, buttery goodness. These biscuits will melt in your mouth! I felt like a kid again but unlike a kid, I didn’t have to ask for another and another lol. I can’t wait to make more!
Please don’t beat around the bush thinking about whether you should make them or not, I’m telling you should! If you’re not a fan of the frosting you can leave it out and they still taste amazing! There’s only a couple of recipes I’ve found online that were out of this world good and this is one of them, the other recipe is the General Tso Chicken with Fried Rice.
