Brazilian Lemonade

Brazilian lemonade aka Limonada suíça a refreshing cold drink. It's made of limes, sugar, condensed milk, water and ice it's then mixed in a blender. This frothy, sweet and creamy lemonade is the perfect way to combat the sweltering summer heat that's just around the corner!

Notes

TIPS TO MAKE LIMONADA SUICA:

Brazilian limeade can and should be adjusted to your preference.  Some people prefer their drinks more tart, others more sweet. I prefer mine on the sweeter side. Start of with less sugar and condensed milk then taste. Add more sugar, condensed milk, or water if needed.

Traditional Brazilian Lemonade - Whole limes are used to make this drink but I don't use whole limes.  You can either peel some and leave the rest whole and quartered. It's all up to you. My kids don't like the taste of whole limes because of the bitter flavor, so to suit them, I peel or use the juice of the limes. Feel free to use whole or maybe make a couple whole and the rest juiced or peeled. *See notes below.

By juicing the limes, I can drink it the next day. Can't do that with the whole lime version. See more info below.  Use this recipe as a guideline to make your own limonada suíça.

Make it in advance - Yes you can make this in advance but only if you juice the limes. Using whole limes to make this in advance won't work. It will become so bitter. You won't be able to drink it.

Using whole limes - it's best to drink it the same day or it will become very bitter the next day. I've tried it and trust me. It tastes terrible!

Simplify -  Just an idea but you can save time juicing  and use a 12 oz limeade or lemon concentrate or use a 100% bottled lime juice. I prefer fresh limes.
