I’m back today with a quick delicious simple recipe. It’s nothing spectacular but it’s soooo good. It’s nothing like a simple flavorful quick breakfast in the morning. I love French Toast but I get bored with traditional french toast. As a result, this recipe is a bit different. Not much but just a tiny bit different. As you know french toast recipes requires milk or heavy cream. I usually use milk but this time I wanted to use more than just milk so I used half milk and half sweetened condensed milk. The result was quite good! The sweetened condensed milk sweetened the bread just right. I could’ve just picked the french toast straight out the pan and ate. Trust me, I was so tempted to do just that after trying a tiny piece of french once it was done. Don’t listen to me because then you may not be able to contain yourself and then you may end up without any breakfast to serve. No syrup is necessary since the bread is already sweet but you can add it or just a dollop of whipped cream on top works.
All you have to is add equal parts milk and sweetened condensed milk, egg, a pinch of salt, 1/2 a pinch of cinnamon, teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Get your bread ready, melt butter in your pan. Dip both sides of bread into the milk mixture then place it into the pan and fry both sides. For more info, check out the recipe below.
