Fudgy sweet and salty cake mix brownies with walnuts and chocolate chips on a pretzel crust base and pretzel top. How good does that sound?
As I write this post, my very active toddler boys ( I have two) are running all over the place. Every time I turn my back my 20 month old has something in his mouth. I take it away then turn back around and he has something else in it. Sigh, I don’t know where he finds things to put in his mouth. No matter how much picking up moving things away, cleaning, he still manages to find something to eat. It’s a never ending story with him. Does your toddler do this too? Not too long ago he was caught nibbling away on my tablet. R.I.P iPad (sighs again). I never had this issue with my almost 3 year old. Let me get this post done before my toddler’s saliva destroys something else.
Oh lovely, now my almost three year old decides to climb into his high chair and now stuck in an awkward position, oh the struggle I go through just to get a post done. Hold on, gotta help my little one out.
Okay back! I’m going to make this quick (before they get into something else). So It’s National Brownie day. I just found out about it too. I’m not really big on keeping up with food holidays. I seem to always find out too late. Not today! These brownies take a cinch to make. The crust is simply crushed pretzels, with flour, brown sugar, baking soda and melted butter. Just mix all those up and spread it into your pan. Let it bake for about 10 mins and then all you have to do is add the brownie mix and top it off with pretzels. It’s easy, I promise. Now I can have some fun time with the kiddos! Check out the recipe!
