This southern buttermilk fried chicken is golden with a crunchy crust and juicy, tender meat. It’s finger licking good (thanks to the brine and buttermilk). I’ve been frying chicken using minimal ingredients since I was a kid we didn’t really brine our chicken. We use to let the chicken soak in buttermilk for a couple hours or overnight. These days I brine it in a buttermilk marinade. I also add a bit more seasoning to the chicken. This fried chicken is so good and seasoned just right. My family loves it! What do I love about this chicken? It’s jammed packed with flavor, tender, seasoned just right and I just love the golden crust.
