As I made these wings, I kept thinking about the day I was over my grandmothers house. I had to shake my head a couple times as I coated the wings in the maple mustard sauce. How could anyway not like wings!
It all started when I showed my grandmother photos of food I made. She commented on a picture of wings and said, “I don’t know why people love wings so much.” I looked at her confused and side eyed, I said, “Whuutt are you talking about?!” Apparently, she has never tasted amazing wings before. I’m going to cook her some one day so she’ll know why people go crazy over wings.
I bought a jar of Jalapeno Pineapple Jelly from Aldi’s some weeks ago. I didn’t know what I wanted to use it on but I bought it anyway. 3 weeks later I opened up my cabinets and saw the jelly looking at me. I grabbed it, read the description again and bam, a light went on. I figured the jalapeno jelly would be a great addition to the mustard maple sauce. So that’s my secret ingredient You only need about 1 teaspoon or more if you like the flavor. You can definitely play around with the ingredients and adjust to your preference if needed.
