Crispy Fried Chicken in between a soft warm biscuit and slathered with Spicy Honey Butter.
I was in loooove with the weather this week. Warm and sunny blue skies. The warm weather had me wondering about grilling outside, that’s right just wondering because I’m not ready to test out my nonexistent grilling skills. I really should buy a grilling guide. Grilling scares me, maybe, I can pay someone with food, to do it for me.
Anyway, I’m back with another biscuit recipe. I don’t know about you but I love biscuits, especially biscuits with fried chicken. It’s been a year since I’ve been to Popeyes and I have been craving their chicken and biscuits like crazy, so instead of telling Popeyes to take my money, I decided to keep my money and make my own version of fried chicken and biscuits with Honey Spicy Butter.
This recipe may seem like a lot of steps but don’t let that intimidate you. This recipe is super easy and everything comes together pretty quickly. The only waiting time, is the brining of the chicken. You can either skip this step or brine the chicken for 30-60 minute. I love brining chicken because to make them juicy and flavorful. If you are crunched for time you can definitely skip the brine steps.
